Pontoon Brewing Company Announces Second Location in Tucker, Georgia
Pontoon Brewing Company continues to grow with the opening of a second location in Tucker, Georgia which is slated to open the fall of 2021. Pontoon Brewing’s current location in Sandy Springs opened in December 2017 as the first brewery in Sandy Springs. Since then, their footprint has grown into distribution throughout the southeast and Pontoon Brewing is excited to expand to this new facility to continue growth.
The 33,000 square foot facility will house a taproom, private event space, and production facility. Continuing the “Pontoon Lifestyle” with an appreciation for all things outdoors, the close proximity to Stone Mountain will play a major factor in the interior décor of this two-story space.
Keeping up with demand, the new production facility will include the installation of a 5-vessel automated 30-barrel Alpha Brewing Ops brewhouse as well as a 5-barrel pilot system. The Sandy Springs production facility will continue to operate and give Pontoon Brewing the opportunity to expand their experimental wild ale programs, barrel-aged programs and more.
From the owners of Pontoon Brewing, Sean O’Keefe and Marcus Powers: "We're really excited to continue to grow and expand Pontoon Brewing and the Pontoon Lifestyle throughout Georgia and the southeast. This expansion to Tucker is a perfect fit. We'll have a taproom with a Tucker-specific feel to it to bring our brand of fun and exciting beers to an entirely new area of Georgia and we'll also have a much larger production area to allow us to build on our distribution successes both inside and outside of Georgia. We feel like our radical approach to brewing will bring something truly unique to Tucker and the growing craft brewing scene there."
